so bill and others tell me there is a massive storm out west. i just looked on a weather site and of course its all up on where i'm gonna be driving. this happened the last time i drove out west. though it came from the south and came up towards chicago. where is this global warming i keep hearing about?

i guess keep my eyes peeled, and worst case i have no absolute commitments to route 66, i could go see new orleans again =)

lol. this was a scene in "zack and miri make a porno". its a damn funny movie. written and directed by kevin smith. funniest movie i've seen since superbad. and seth rogan from superbad (the one cop) is one of the main characters. jason mews is in it to as a porn actor that can just get hard whenever.

hit me private w your address if you want a postcard from my travels!

i'm driving route 66. leaving friday. pretty much follows i-55, i-44, and i-40.

anyone along the way wanna kick it? grab some lunch? have a beer? let me crash on your couch?

hell i have room in the car if anyone wants to go and got gas/food/hotel $$. you know you wanna!

1. buy a laptop for $305
2. before you even have it, copy the auction verbatim and put it on ebay.
3. sell it for $325 + $20 shipping - 15% ebay/paypal fees = $293
4. get caught by the original seller because you left their phone number in the listing and people call
5. make it worse by getting caught trying to have it shipped to a third party

yes. someone bought a laptop from us, then figured out it wasn't what they needed and stole our listing and resold it. then wanted us to ship it to a third party. *sigh*

okay i know there's nothing fundamentally wrong with buying something and reselling it. but sheesh.

wow. just. wow.

cocktail party

(from livejournals writers block question)

i have a few....

the adventures of pete & pete: quirky, weird, fun. ran 3 seasons and nick axed it as they do most shows.

dobie gillis: another quirky family show. focused on dobie and maynard G. krebs. and dobies unending search for a girl. any girl. just not zelda.

married with children: makes me glad every day i'm not al bundy. wellllll.... every once in awhile al wins, but it's always very very shortly lived.

dick van dyke show: mary tyler moore. that is all. (well it is a funny well written show about writing a show too)

the young ones: coarse uncouth humour. like a whole show of pull-my-finger jokes. or so it seemed. and those never get old.

dead like me: pure genius. makes death seem amusing and funny. sorta, we'll see how i feel about it when i die.

mash: this show covered alot of ground and hit alot of issues. ranges from slapstick humour to somber moody episodes. you really feel like a member of the 4077th at times

absolutely fabulous: annoyingly funny... sweetie sweetie darling

sopranos: well the ending is open to interpretation, but wow, what a fucking show. rooting for the bad guy never felt so good!

trailer park boys: might be over, though i read an 8th season will be out. not sure how i feel. seems the show went slowly downhill after lahey went back on the bottle. its pretty over the top all around from the get-go. esp the original movie/pilot because it dealt alot with them trying to hustle coke, rather than weed.

cup o change

december 3, 2008 10:51 pm | | comments (0) | trackbacks (0)

ah one of those minor landmarks in my life. a cup o change (well it's actually a mug, but cup sounds better)

it's all silver change. i am A.D.D. and keep the pennies in a 32 oz plastic cup. i used to have a reason. the silver i'd dip into at times, the pennies i just dumped in the coinstar whenever i was assbroke. now i just don't like change in my pockets much at all. oh well. i wonder if i can deposit a cup o change at the bank? i know they're usually annoying fucks about having them rolled with your account number on em and all that.

what should my next life goal be?

mug of change

the latest addition to clan trout.... black betty. she got the name from her previous owner. that name reminds me alot of betty page so works for me =)

and right after we transferred the title she came rushing back in to the bmv to tell me the song "black betty" was on the radio. lol weird.
