(from livejournals writers block question)

i have a few....

the adventures of pete & pete: quirky, weird, fun. ran 3 seasons and nick axed it as they do most shows.

dobie gillis: another quirky family show. focused on dobie and maynard G. krebs. and dobies unending search for a girl. any girl. just not zelda.

married with children: makes me glad every day i'm not al bundy. wellllll.... every once in awhile al wins, but it's always very very shortly lived.

dick van dyke show: mary tyler moore. that is all. (well it is a funny well written show about writing a show too)

the young ones: coarse uncouth humour. like a whole show of pull-my-finger jokes. or so it seemed. and those never get old.

dead like me: pure genius. makes death seem amusing and funny. sorta, we'll see how i feel about it when i die.

mash: this show covered alot of ground and hit alot of issues. ranges from slapstick humour to somber moody episodes. you really feel like a member of the 4077th at times

absolutely fabulous: annoyingly funny... sweetie sweetie darling

sopranos: well the ending is open to interpretation, but wow, what a fucking show. rooting for the bad guy never felt so good!

trailer park boys: might be over, though i read an 8th season will be out. not sure how i feel. seems the show went slowly downhill after lahey went back on the bottle. its pretty over the top all around from the get-go. esp the original movie/pilot because it dealt alot with them trying to hustle coke, rather than weed.
